2017 Presidents Club Award....for me!

I just posted about why employee recognition is important.  I say that from experience too.

Yesterday I received my Halo Presidents Club award for my 2017 sales achievement. It's an exciting moment when I open the box and anticipate seeing my name on such a simple but beautiful thing. I don't say it's beautiful because of it's appearance (yes, it's nice) but it's the feeling it gives me upon opening it.  It's a "Wow, I did that." kind of moment.  Although I don't do near the sales of others I am happy where I am at and grateful to be associated with a company that shows the appreciation for my efforts.  I say this to enforce the need for you, if you have employees, recognize them.  The little expense of an appreciation gift, achievement award or simple "Thank You" gift will be minor compared to the expense of searching for someone to take their place and train multiple times because that valued employee keeps searching for that valued employer.

I am happy I made the decision to affiliate myself and my business with Halo branded solutions. I work with them to provide the best products and prices to my valued customers.  The association has been an invaluable one to me and to my clients.  I personally love the work that I do and would love to help you.  Let me know how I can help you show your appreciation to those that keep your business running on a day-to-day basis.  You won't be sorry.

Extremely Quick Turn and a Satisfied Customer

3/19/2018

I get a call on a Monday and my customer's request was for this journal (shown top right) but they needed it by the following Tuesday.  Yikes! My first thought is "I don't think this is possible.".  I expressed this to the customer but told her I would see if they have a standard 24-hour turnaround on this item and if anything we could do a rush shipment if the supplier was not close.  After discovering the supplier would ship from FL (I know, right., could it have been any further) our conversation turned to finding a supplier that was closer that carried a similar item. They indicated they wanted a journal with the flap like this one.  After researching in my system this was the only item of it's kind and price range with the flap so my customer decided to go for it with the 24-hour production and a 3-day ship. Generally, when a supplier does a 24-hour production you will not get a supplier proof. Knowing they wanted a pretty simple print I told them to email me the wording for their saying in Spanish (no espanol here) and I would put together a mock proof for their approval.  I suggested the brown tone-on-tone imprint because I thought that would look best.  I sent them the mock up (shown lower right) and said it would be pretty close to the finish product because I know colors and imprint,  Well, the finish product is below and happy to say they received their journals in time for their event.

Her email to me "Here is the picture of the journals … they turned out beautiful!  Thank you for helping expedite this order."

Moral of the story...when you comes to your logo, work with professionals that deal with professional suppliers because we know how to get it done right.  :)
